Provide excellent service to members, coworkers, and vendors

Remain cognizant of and adheres to Credit Union policies and
procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act
(BSA) and any other relevant regulations

Perform regular systems processing, ensuring accurate and timely
completion of data processing.

Independently lead organization-wide projects coordinating both
internal and external resources and proactively identify work
needed for successful projects.

Consult with users to determine software or system functional specifications
-
Analyze business processes to determine opportunities for
improvement, make recommendations, coordinate and document resolution.

Provide front-line application and operational support for the
credit union, serving as Tier I, II and III levels of support.

Maintenance, upgrades and patching of credit union applications
to ensure latest and stable code levels
-
Monitor status of core business systems supporting credit union
operations. Identify and diagnose problems, and coordinate
resolution. Define, document, and initiate corrective action.
Follow up on problem resolution and report on status.

Promptly resolve end-user issues relating to business
applications and provide secondary support on all business
standard systems

Provide knowledgeable support for staff on Symitar system and
related systems
-
Actively seek out and respond to requests for system improvements
-
Maintain AIX operating system environment and ensure system
configurations are well documented, secure and within established
best practices and policies
-
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the
flawless execution of IT Projects
-
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives,
involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
-
Document, test and modify computer systems to ensure optimal
operation within the business environment
-
Develop solutions that enhance business operations using a
combination of PowerShell, PowerOn, SymPDF, HTML and JavaScript
-
Review release notes for business applications, identifying and
resolving possible issues and how to leverage enhancements as they
become available.

Escalate and coordinate responses and communication for system
outages, coordinating vendors and internal resources to rapid
resolution 24/7
-
Serve as senior technical resource for staff in matters regarding
business applications and business processes.
-
Provide in-depth support and understanding of credit union
operations such as Card Production and administration, IRA and tax
reporting, etc.
-
Responsible for Symitar projects, staff support, and development
of special reports, processes and electronic forms supporting
credit union operations
-
Ensure that users are kept informed of all system updates, and
that the IT Steering Committee is informed about new features that
may benefit the credit union.

Maintain change control and testing processes for modification to
applications. Verify test results and meet implementation schedules.
-
Create and maintain technical schematics, business processes and
data flows on both a broad conceptual and highly detailed,
technical level
-
Create, update, and delete software, users, develop secure user
profile templates, and maintain security records for audit
purposes. Administrator responsibilities for select third party
service application access, such as Internet Banking, Bill Pay,
FICS, etc.

Develop technical documents both for technical staff procedures,
as well as front-end documentation on how to utilize standard and
custom-built solutions

Ensure adherence to Software Develop Life Cycle

Perform security patching and maintenance outside of normal
business hours in established off-peak time period
-
Maintain physical security systems including staff alarm codes
-
Respect confidentiality of information handled
-
Routinely be on call outside regularly scheduled hours
-
Perform other duties as assigned
