Market Research Analyst Role:
The Marketing Department is looking for a Market Research Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for uncovering, interpreting and telling the story that lives within the data. Through reporting and analysis, they support the marketing department, senior leadership and the organization in making data driven decisions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends and patterns in complex data sets to develop recommendations to be used in promoting the organization
Directs central market research function, anticipates and provides useful market information and establishes standards for research methodology
Evaluates demographics, competition, prices, distribution channels and marketing outlets to develop marketing and sales strategies for existing and future products and services
Provides market intelligence on industry issues shaping current and future business strategies and initiatives
Conducts primary and secondary market research including focus groups, member surveys, marketing audits and competitive analysis
Compiles, compares and analyzes membership and market data
Manages and maintains the marketing database (MCIF)
Oversees 1:1 direct target marketing for promotions and campaigns
Establishes goals and objectives for campaigns and promotions
Tracks campaigns/promotions for impact and ROI
Conducts annual brand awareness survey
Writes monthly reports and presentations on campaigns, promotions, and marketing initiatives for the marketing department, senior leadership team and board of directors
